What BeatMind is

BeatMind generates music from a text prompt and takes existing recordings apart into five stems, maps their sections and chords, and gives you an editor to rebuild them. It is a small product, run by a small operation, and these terms try to say what that actually means rather than what a large one would say.

Your account

You need an account to generate or dissect anything. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; anything done through your account is treated as done by you.

Fair use of the machines

Generation and separation run on GPUs that cost real money per minute. Usage limits may apply and can change as the product does. Working around a limit with multiple accounts is the one thing that will get an account suspended.

What you upload

Only upload audio you have the right to upload. Do not upload anything unlawful. We do not screen uploads, which means we rely on you here.

What we do not promise

There is no uptime guarantee. Jobs can fail: models time out, containers die, and separation quality varies with the source material. A failed run should not cost you a run against your limit, and if it does, that is a bug worth telling us about.

We do not promise the service will exist forever. If it is going to stop, you will get notice and a window to export your work.

Ending it

You can stop using BeatMind at any time and delete your projects from the library. We can close an account that is being used to break these terms, and will say why.

Changes

If these terms change materially, the date at the top changes and the change is noted in the changelog. We will not quietly rewrite them.
